Description
|
| Thermodynamic steam traps, generically referred to as
disc traps, utilize the energy in hot, flashing, condensate to snap the
trap closed and prevent the loss of live steam. With only one
moving part, this type of trap is very rugged. Water hammer
resistant and able to withstand superheated steam service, these traps
are commonly found on steam main drip and steam tracing applications.

| Small, lightweight, compact, and virtually indestructible
to water hammer and freezing, the Series WD600 was designed as an exact
replacement in capacity and end-to-end dimensions for existing thermodynamic traps. The all stainless steel, hardened, ground, and lapped seating
surfaces result in efficient and dependable service that you can count
on. |
