HD &  D-Series Pilot-Operated Regulators

PILOT-OPERATED REGULATORS
Pilot-Operated Regulators are higher in capacity and more accurate than standard self-operated regulators. Pilot-Operated Regulators will maintain constant set outlet pressure even when inlet pressure fluctuations or variations in flow occur. With the proper selection of pilots, these regulators will accurately control temperature, pressure, or a combination of both.

HD & D Pilots

"P"&"P5"

Pressure Pilots - The “P” is our standard spring-loaded pressure pilot. The “P5” is used for special applications requiring 0.5 PSI accuracy.

"BP"

Back Pressure Pilot - Controls system back pressure.

"T"

Temperature Pilot - Used for controlling temperature on most applications.

"A"

Air Pilot - Normally used for controlling steam pressure using an air signal. Also used for temperature control when used in conjunction with the “PTR” or “PTL” temperature controller.

"PTR" & "PTL"

Temperature Controllers (used with “A” Air Pilot) - The “PTR” or “PTL” will control a wider temperature range than the standard “T” Pilot.

"TRP"

Temperature Pilot - Special purpose temperature pilot for controlling low temperatures

"S"

Solenoid Pilot - Used in conjunction with any of the above pilots for electrical on/off control of HD & D Regulators.

Pressure Regulators
Regulator
O Series Pressure Regulating Valve - STEAM, Water, Air, Oil, other Liquids & Gases
The O Series, with Cast Iron body and Hardened Stainless internals, is our most popular and economical solution for reducing pressure in STEAM systems. It will also handle Air, Water, Oil as well as other Liquids and Gases.
B Series Pressure Regulating Valve - WATER, Air, Oil, other Liquids & Gases
The B-Series is primarily used for reducing pressure in WATER systems. It will also handle Air, Oil, as well as other Liquids and Gases. The B-Series is higher capacity than the O-Series, however it will not handle the temperature requirements of Steam.
455 Series Pressure Regulating Valve - STEAM, Air, Water, other Gases
The 455 is used for reducing pressure in STEAM applications and require only 5 PSIG minimum inlet pressure (HD regulators require minimum 15 PSIG). Excellent for use in steam systems that contain large amounts of scale that may cause failure in pilot-operated regulators. With a slight modification to the internal mechanism, the 455 can be used for Liquid systems.

402/403 Series

Pilot-Operated Regulating Valve - STEAM, Air
The 402 is a pilot-operated, piston-actuated, pressure regulator used for reducing pressure in STEAM systems. This regulator can be equipped with an optional internal sensing line which simplifies installation. The 403 Series has all stainless steel internals for high-pressure applications.

Back Pressure-Relief Valves
R Series Relief and Back Pressure Valves - Water, Liquids
The R Series is an economically-priced Back Pressure Relief Valve for Liquid service. Relief Valves protect systems from over-pressurized conditions.
3040 Series Relief and Back Pressure Valves - Water, Liquids
The 3040 Back Pressure Relief Valve has a much higher capacity than the R Series. Used for Liquid service. Relief Valves protect systems from over-pressurized conditions.

Temperature Regulating Valves
175 Series  Heating
153 Series Cooling
Self-Operating Temperature Regulating Valves - Heating/Cooling
The 175/153 Series temperature regulating valves are used for controlling temperatures in industrial and HVAC applications.
