HB Series Control Valve with Electric Actuator feature Spring Return
The HB Series Stainless Steel Control Valves with SK Series Electric Actuator is a robust and convenient Electrically-Actuated alternative for 2-Way control valves. The response time makes them ideal for Cooling and Boiler Feed Water applications as well as On/Off HVAC Steam Control. These Electric Actuators utilize Spring Return to retract the stem which allows 2-Way valves to fail fully-closed in the event of power loss or signal failure. Additional features include manual override and visual electronic stroke indication.

Additional features include manual override and visual electronic stroke indication. Maximum Close-off pressure is based on valve size and actuator selection. See the chart on "Model Coding" tab for Close-Off Pressures and Cv values for each valve body size. Select the proper valve size based on Cv value, connection size and type.

Ensure the Maximum Close-Off Pressure Specification of the valve exceeds the Inlet Pressure. This is necessary to guarantee the valve assembly will overcome the forces generated in the valve body from the fluid pressure, allowing the valve to open and close properly and completely. See the chart below for Close-Off Pressures and Cv values for each valve body size. Select the proper valve size based on Cv value, connection size and type.
