Thermodynamic: UTD450SM / UTD600SM
(Side Mount)

The UTD450SM and UTD600SM (Side Mount) Thermodynamic Steam Trap Modules can be used anywhere conventional thermodynamic steam traps are used, including drip and tracing applications. The Side Mount design allows greater piping flexibility for mounting thermodynamic trap modules in the optimized orientation with the cap facing upward on either vertical or horizontal piping installations. These modules can mount to any 2-bolt Quick-Change Universal Connector, but are typically used with side-mount connectors such as the UC450SR/UC450SL. (Shown with UC450SR connector.)

Thermodynamic: UTD450
(Top Mount)

The UTD450 (Top Mount) Thermodynamic Steam Trap Modules can be used anywhere conventional thermodynamic steam traps are used, including drip and tracing applications. These modules can mount to any 2-bolt Quick-Change Universal Connector. When used with the UC450S connector strainer will point downward. (Shown with UC450SB connector.)

The UTD450 “Top Mount” is inteded for horizontal piping configurations only so that cap can be oriented upwards, as shown.

Inverted Bucket: USIB450

The USIB450 Series Inverted Bucket Steam Trap Modules can be used for drip and tracing applications. These modules can mount to any 2-bolt Quick-Change Universal Connector, but are typically used with side-mount connectors such as the UC450SR/UC450SL. (Shown with UC450SR connector.)

Thermostatic: UT450

The UT450 Thermostatic Steam Trap Module can be used anywhere conventional thermostatic steam traps are used, including drip, tracing, and light process applications. Because of the installation flexibility of Thermostatic Steam Traps, these modules can mount to any 2-bolt Quick-Change Universal Connector. (Shown with UC450SL connector.)

Bi-Metallic: UB450

The UB450 Bimetallic Steam Trap Module is used in steam tracing applications such as process line heating, winterization of instrumentation, general steam jacketing, etc.). The bimetal element is externally field-adjustable. This feature provides accurate control of condensate discharge temperature as required to maintain a specific product temperature, as well as maintain maximum energy usage. Because of the installation flexibility of Bimetallic Steam Traps, these modules can mount to any 2-bolt Quick-Change Universal Connector. (Shown with UC450SBL connector.)

Float & Thermostatic: UFT450

The UFT450 Series Float & Thermostatic Steam Trap Modules can be used on small process equipment which generate light condensate loads. F&T traps have excellent air handling capability. These F&T trap modules can also be used in drip service on steam mains and steam supply lines. These modules can mount to any 2-bolt Quick-Change Universal Connector, but are typically used with side-mount connectors such as the UC450SR/UC450SL to maintain proper orientation of the Float & Thermostatic trap module. (Shown with UC450SBL connector.)

Quick-Change Steam Traps
are recommended in any application – particularly those which are difficult to access, or require simple and frequent replacement of steam traps.

Universal Connectors
These Connectors remain permanently installed in the piping system. The convenient 2-bolt mounting system allows the Trap Module to be replaced quickly and easily using a socket or open-end wrench without having to unthread piping

The UTS600 Series Universal Connector Trap Test Valve Stations reduce the time and manpower to test and replace steam traps. The stainless steel Connector remains permanently in-line allowing steam trap module to be replaced in minutes. Integral isolation valves and trap test valve allow for simple trap testing to determine operation. These universal connectors can be used for drip service on steam mains and steam supply lines, tracing, or for small process equipment. Industrial standard 2-bolt universal connectors are commonly used in chemical plants, petrochemical refineries, paper mills, and other industrial facilities. The UTS600 connectors conform to industrial standards, making them compatible with other manufacturers’ universal steam trap modules.
