What to Expect
Each 1-1/2 day training is tailored to the audience to maximize their experience in our
classroom and state-of-the-art Steam and Condensate Demo with glass heat exchanger, steam
traps, and piping.
Regardless of background, each attendee can expect information and discussion as follows:
- Steam Essentials, including Heat Transfer & BTU's of Latent Heat, Pressure vs.
Volume, Velocity & Noise
- General System Piping Guidelines
- Discuss Purpose & Selection of Steam Distribution Products such as Drip Steam Traps,
PRV's, Separators, Strainers, etc.
- Process Heat Transfer, including Control Valve Selection, When to Apply Steam Traps or
Pump-Traps, and Packaged Heat Exchanger Systems
- Condensate Recovery with Electric or Pressure Motive Pump Packages
- Product Hands-On
- Overview of Watson McDaniel Capabilities
- Using Available Resource Materials for Reference & Troubleshooting
Cost
Training cost is $600 / person, which includes:
- 2 nights lodging
- Coffee, beverages, snacks
- Lunch on Day 1, Dinner/Event after Day 1
- Training and Materials
Note: Attendees are responsible for airfare/ground transportation to and from the Training
Center.
